Oak Lawn HS Students Raise 1K For Veterans

From Oak Lawn Community High School:

National Honor Society held its second annual Homes for our Troops fundraiser.

The varsity members of the football team also helped by celebrating our veterans at their Red, White and Blue game.

On October 18, 2019, NHS students and football players raised $1,000.00 to assist veterans in obtaining accessible housing.

NHS Co-President Kendallyn Julkowski said, “We appreciated all of the support for this great cause from our Spartan Community. It is always nice to see our veterans at the football games and share in their joy about helping fellow servicemen.”
