Oak Lawn Schools Plan e-Learning Ahead Of Winter Storm - UPDATED 2X

OAK LAWN, IL — School districts are starting to announce closings in anticipation of a winter storm on Friday that could dump up to eight inches of snow in parts of the Chicago area. The National Weather Service has issued the watch starting Friday morning and ending Friday evening for Kane, DuPage, La Salle, Kendall, Grundy, Kankakee, Cook and Will counties.

While school buildings will be closed, e-Learning will be in effect Friday, gypping kids out of an actual snow day.

Ridgeland School Dist. 122 - school closed, e-Learning

Oak Lawn-Hometown Dist. 123 - school closed, e-Learning

Atwood Heights School Dist. 125 - Closed, e-Learning

Dist. 126 (Alsip, Hazelgreen, Oak Lawn) - e-Learning

Chicago Ridge Dist. 127.5 - school closed, e-Learning

Oak Lawn Community High School - school closed, e-Learning plan

CHSD 218, Richards, Shepard and Eisenhower high schools - schools closed, e-Learning

Mother McAuley Liberal Arts School - school closed, e-Learning

Brother Rice High School - early dismissal 12:57 p.m.; BR's basketball playoff game is still on as of now.
