Oak Lawn Snow Routes Will Be In Effect With 1 Or More Inches Of Snow

OAK LAWN, IL — Up to 8 inches of snow is expected in anticipation of a winter storm on Friday that could dump up to eight inches of snow in parts of the Chicago area.

The Village of Oak Lawn prohibits street parking when there is one or more inches of snow. In case you weren’t around for last measurable snow in December, the Village of Oak Lawn has suspended its chaotic “odd/even” snow parking ordinance, which nobody understood.

The village is asking all residents to utilize off-street parking to the greatest extent possible, until snow removal has been completed. So please spread the word to your family and neighbors, no more “odd-even” snow parking ordinance.
