OLCHS Celebrates Homecoming With ‘Spartans In Candyland’: VIDEO

OAK LAWN, IL -- Clubs and teams promenaded down Austin Avenue Thursday evening for Oak Lawn Community High School’s 2018 homecoming parade, “Spartans In Candyland.” The Johnson-Phelps VFW color guard led the parade follow by retiring OLCHS teachers and grand marshals John Robinson and Kelly Rumel led the parade in an open top convertible. The Spartans marching band set the beat for the football and track and field teams, cheerleaders, dance team and the cast of the high school’s upcoming musical Chicago.

On Friday, Sept. 21, the Oak Lawn Spartans take on Burbank's Reavis Rams on the gridiron. the junior varsity game starts at 4:30 p.m. and kick-off for the varsity game is at 7:30 p.m. Watch the parade again.
