OLCHS Senior Jessica Kasprzak's Leadership Inspires Badminton Team

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School senior Jessica Kasprzak went above and beyond the call of duty for the badminton team all season long.

She led warm-ups. She set up nets and equipment before practice and games. Kasprzak encouraged her fellow Spartans during matches. She took on one of the toughest schedules of the season.

In the end, all of that leadership led Kasprzak to capturing third place in singles at the South Suburban Conference Red meet.

“Jess was a leader for her teammates all season,” said head coach Elliana LaSpina. “Jess had played top positions for singles and doubles throughout the season. Her competitiveness and drive helped her be successful.”
