Run Or Wobble This Saturday In St. Linus School's 5K Turkey Trot

OAK LAWN, IL - - Gobble or wobble in St. Linus School’s 5K Turkey Trot on Saturday, Nov. 16. The race starts at 9 a.m. at the school located at, 10300 S. Lawler Ave. in Oak Lawn.

Runners and walkers can still register to participate in the 5K online or on the day of the race by visiting the St. Linus Wobble Wobble 5K. Registration is $40. Family pricing is also available. Students with the best trot times will win a $25 gift card, with medals handed out to the top three runners in each age group. Money raised from the Turkey Trot helps to improve technology at the school, and is used to fund the Erica Heilmann Scholarship.

All registered runners and walkers of the St. Linus Turkey Trot will receive a complimentary class to Treadfit Palos Heights in their goodie bags, which will also include a race t-shirt. Treadfit Palos Heights opened its doors last weekend at 12228 South Harlem Avenue, in the shopping complex which also houses Joe Daniel’s Restaurant and Golden Shoes.
