St. Laurence Holds Signing Ceremony for Nine Athletes Headed to College

St. Laurence High School athletes will continue athletic careers at colleges and universities.

BURBANK, IL - St. Laurence High School student athletes signed to continue their athletic careers in college during a signing ceremony on Feb. 2. The athletes included:

Vikings wide receiver Levy Hamer (Holy Angels, Chicago) and quarterback Romello Washington (CICS Basil, Chicago) have signed with University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Defensive end/tackle Lonnie Chambers (Vanderpoel, Chicago) and tackle/guard Doug Kosch (St. Albert the Great, Burbank) will continue their athletic careers at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Cornerback/wide receiver Willie Spears (Carroll-Rosenwald, Chicago) signed with St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN.

Football/basketball player Alec Freeman (St. Jane de Chantal, Chicago) will continue playing sports at Saint Xavier University.

Offensive tackle/defensive end Tim Ladewig (Palos South, Palos Park) signed with Ripon College, Ripon, WI.

Soccer player Dylan Terrell (Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School, Oak Lawn) signed with Cornell College. Mt. Vernon, IA.

Bowler Isaac Torres (St. Daniel the Prophet, Chicago) signed with Saint Xavier University, Chicago.
