Suspect Charged In Reilly's Daughter Ruse Burglary: Police
A Chicago man accused of posing as an electrical inspector and taking a cash box has been charged with burglary and theft.

OAK LAWN, IL — A Chicago man who posed as an electrical inspector and then walked off with a money box at Reilly’s Daughter is in custody, Oak Lawn police said. Ronald Browning, 74, has been charged with burglary and felony theft.
The morning of Dec. 20, police said Browning went into Reilly’s Daughter and identified himself as an electrical inspector. When an employee went to get the manager, Browning took a money box, police said. The theft was captured on the bar’s surveillance video.
Browning was already in custody when he was charged in the Oak Lawn ruse burglary. Additional charges against Browning are expected by the Chicago Police Department and other suburban agencies. Bail for Browning was set at $25,000.
