Time To Review Oak Lawn's Snow Parking Rules
Residents should be prepared for the Village of Oak Lawn to enact snow parking rules on Monday and Tuesday.
OAK LAWN, IL — With a winter advisory in effect through Monday afternoon for McHenry, Lake, Kane, DuPage, Cook and Will counties, now is probably a good time to remind Oak Lawn residents of the village’s confusing snow parking rules.
When there is more than one-inch of snowfall, there is no parking on designated snow routes until snow removal operations are completed. Also, the village’s off/even ordinance is in effect.
There is no parking on even-numbered sides of the streets on even-numbered days, and no parking on odd-numbered sides on odd-numbered days. This means that on Monday, Nov. 11, you’ll want to park on the even-numbered side of the street.
