Best performance of marching season at Illini Marching Band Championships
The Shepard High School marching band closed its competitive season last weekend with its finest performance yet.
The Marching Astros competed at the Illini Marching Band Championships last Saturday at the University of Illinois and continued their season-long trend of improving their scores. The band placed 6th in Class 6A and 10th out of 20 bands in the large school division.
"Congrats on a terrific season!" band director Chris Pitlik said.
