• Housing Forward launches $18M renovation of Write Inn (oakpark.com) — Housing Forward has begun an $18.5 million renovation of the historic Write Inn at 211 N. Oak Park Ave., transforming it into a permanent hub for interim housing and medical respite services. With support from the Village of Oak Park and state and county agencies, the revamped "Oak Inn" will offer upgraded rooms, more accessible units, and improved community spaces to better serve unhoused neighbors.
