2 Charged In Best Buy Burglary, Warrant Issued For Third Suspect
Orland Park police said the men drilled a hole in the wall of Best Buy from an adjacent vacant business, while a third man acted as lookout.
ORLAND PARK, IL — Two men are accused of drilling a hole in the wall of a vacant business where they accessed Best Buy and stole 12 MacBooks. A third accomplice is still at large, prosecutors said. Robert Girolimon, 35, of Oak Lawn, and William Debias, 34, of Chicago, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on felony charges of burglary. An arrest warrant was also issued for 36-year-old Emil Kozeluh, of Palos Hills.
Girolimon waited outside the Best Buy at 15854 S. LaGrange Road in Orland Park in the early morning hours of May 20, where he acted as a lookout and getaway driver, the prosecutor said. Surveillance video showed the Ford sedan sitting in the lot between 2:30 and 6 a.m., police said. Debias and a man later identified by police as Kozeluh cut a hole in the exterior door of the shuttered Arhaus next door to Best Buy, according to the complaint.
Debias and Kozeluh drilled through the drywall inside the vacant business where, Orland Park police said, they accessed a back room of the store and took 12 MacBooks valued at $12,358. During the heist, cell phone records indicated that Kozeluh made several calls to Girolimon in the parking lot, the prosecutor said.

The pair left the vacant business carrying drills, ladders and their bounty out to the waiting Ford, the prosecutor said. They drove to a Chicago man's house, where police claim the man purchased one of the stolen MacBooks. The prosecutor said police identified the suspects after a monthslong investigation.
Girolimon and Debias were arrested and charged with burglary Sept. 12. The prosecutor said Debias had past arrests for vehicular hijacking, theft and unlawful use of a weapon.

"There are some issues here that the state will have to prove up the road," Debias's attorney told the judge.
Girolimon was released on a $10,000 I-bond. The judge set Debias's bail at $150,000. A warrant was issued for Kozeluh in the amount of $200,000. Police said he was identified as the third suspect through his car registration. Orland Park police said in a news release that Kozeluh is aware he is a wanted man.
The next court hearing for Girolimon and Debais has been set for Oct. 9 in Bridgeview.
