$200K In Furniture Up For Grabs In Darvin Furniture Giveaway

Anyone can enter to win some of $200,000 in furniture prizes from the Orland Park store.

ORLAND PARK, IL — It might be someone's lucky day, when $200,000 in furniture is doled out by Darvin Furniture & Mattress in Orland Park in November.

The giveaway is open to the public, and anyone 21 and older can register for a chance to win a share of entertainment sets, dining sets, bedroom furniture, sofas, china cabinets, mattresses and more, according to a release from Darvin.

Anyone interested in throwing in their name can register in-store, 15400 La Grange Rd., until 5 p.m. Nov. 28. The winning names will be drawn at 6 p.m. Nov. 28.

Bob McGivney has been the manager of Darvin Furniture & Mattress for more than 20 years. He said he still looks forward to the giveaway every year.

“After more than twenty years, the Furniture Giveaway never gets old for me,” says McGivney. "To see the reactions on the faces of so many of our loyal Darvin customers when they hear their name called, or when they stop by to pick up their prize, is a great feeling."

Darvin Furniture & Mattress President Will Harris, who has been part of the annual event for three years, said the Furniture Giveaway is one long-standing Darvin tradition that he has grown to enjoy more each year, according to the release.

"Darvin has been in business for 102 years and we are humbled by the generations of Chicagoland customers that have come through our doors to shop," said Harris. "The Furniture Giveaway is our chance to say thank you and to let our customers know how much we have valued their loyalty over the years."
