Firefighters Collect Toys For Children’s Charities

You can help firefighters spread some cheer this year by dropping off a toy.

From OFPD: The Orland Fire Protection District is asking members of the public to donate new toys for the annual Toys for Children charity drive. All toys must be new and can be dropped off at any of the Fire District’s Fire Houses, including at the OFPD Headquarters at 9790 W. 151st Street. The toys collected will be donated to the Toy Box Connection and to Treasure Chest. ToyBox Connection collects toys for children with cancer, and Treasure Chest collects toys for children of needy families during the Christmas Holidays. OFPD Officials said toys can be dropped off through Christmas Day.
