Orland Park Man Charged in Murder of Wife in Family Garage
Raymond Homolka has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, Mary.
ORLAND PARK, IL - A first degree murder charge against Raymond Homolka, 60, of Orland Park has been approved. Homolka is accused of murdering his wife with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police found the body of Mary Homolka, 60 in the garage of the home the couple shared in the 14000 block of Sheri Lane Friday afternoon after they were called there to conduct a well-being check. Her death was ruled a homicide by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office on Saturday.
Raymond Homolka was in custody Saturday at the Orland Park police station before the charge was approved. He is scheduled to appear in bond court Sunday at 2600 S. California in Chicago.
