The typical Orland Park homeowner will pay about $450 in property taxes to the village, according to Trustee Dan Calandriello.
ORLAND PARK, IL - Orland Park officials Monday approved the village’s budget for 2020, along with a property tax levy that is unchanged from the current year, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
The budget calls for total general fund spending of $54.3 million for the fiscal year that starts Jan. 1 compared with estimated spending of $55.3 million for this fiscal year, the newspaper reported.
The levy has remained the same for the past nine years, according to village officials, and they expect the tax rate to remain unchanged at 59 cents per $100 of equalized assessed valuation. The levy is for property taxes that will be paid in 2020.
