Orland Township Highway Department Keeps Its Levy Flat
Commissioner Rubino Not to Raise Taxes

Orland Park, IL – Understanding the continued financial burden facing Orland Township Residents, Highway Commissioner Rubino is committed to keeping the levy flat. Residents will not see an increase in the tax rate paid to the Highway Department.
This is the third year since taking office that Rubino has kept the tax levy flat with no tax increase to the community.
“With day-to-day costs rising, I understand the challenges residents face and will hold the line on taxes,” said Highway Commissioner Rubino.

Commissioner Rubino has expanded services, day-to- day operations, and implemented an electronic recycling initiative using a commonsense approach while being fiscally responsible.
Since taking office in 2021, Rubino’s recycling initiative has generated over $80,000 in revenue at the Highway Department.
