Register For Orland Park PD's Citizens Police Academy
Adults 18 and over can get an insider's view of police work by signing up for the Orland Park Police Department's Citizens Police Academy.

ORLAND PARK, IL -- Get an insider’s perspective on police work at the Orland Park Police Department’s 2018 Citizens Police Academy. The one-day academy is free and open to adults age 18 and older. Space is limited so submit an application before Sept. 28.
Participants will learn all about the functions of the department, including patrol, traffic, investigations, school resource officers and more. See how the department’s K9 unit works and participate in mock traffic stop demonstrations. A criminal history review of applications will be conducted prior to acceptance into the academy. Non-residents may also participate, but priority will be given to Orland Park residents.
The Orland Park Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy will meet from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. Lunch will be served.
