Wanted Orland Park Man Banished From Catholic Church
St. Michael's Church officials don't want the man to come around anymore, police said.

A wanted Orland Park man is no longer wanted at a local Catholic Church.
Edward Novak, 42, was hanging around in the “chapel area” of St. Michael’s church on Highland Avenue while clad in a “red Chicago Blackhawks jersey,” police said.
This posed a problem, as St. Michael’s staff reportedly called the cops on him a couple months ago and didn’t want him around. He also had a warrant for his arrest out of Palos Park, police said.

A St. Michael’s receptionist reportedly called the police on Novak again after he was spotted in the chapel area.
An officer responding to the call confirmed that Novak was never before actually told to stay away from the church but still arrested him on the warrant, which carried a charge of failing to appear in court for a larceny case, police said.
