I learned something about Cologuard that I did not know. I was having stomach issues so I went to my gastroenterologist's PA. While I was there, I asked for Cologuard box. I did it 3 years prior. However, do to the fact that I had polyps before I was not a candidate for Cologuard. I was told that Cologuard did not detect polyp's. I sent up a colonoscopy. I had one polyp which happened to be pre-cancerous. My sister used Cologuard over the years. She too, did not know that Cologuard did not detect polys. She had a colonoscopy which found one polyp. She is awaiting the results.
I just wanting to let you know this information and bear it in mind when you go to your doctor.
