Oswego Blotter: Thieves Steal Bottles of Cologne, Perfume; Vandals Strike Oswego Park

Dec. 20

Cynthia Olson, 49, of the 700 block of Churchill Lane, Oswego, was arrested at Kohl’s, 2500 Route 34, and charged with retail theft, police said.

Someone stole numerous bottles of perfume from Ulta, 2510 Route 34, police said. The stolen perform was worth $593, according to police.

A Samsung Galaxy S4 phone containing miscellaneous cards was lost or stolen in the Target parking lot, 3020 Route 34, police said.

Dec.19

Oswego police took a report for unlawful possession of a weapon in the 500 block of Secretariat Lane, police said.

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to state-supported property at Prairie Point Community Park, 4120 Plainfield Road.

A woman visiting family in the 100 block of River Run Court reported that her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle, police said. The purse was later found in a neighbor’s garbage can, but cash and gift cards had been removed, according to a police report.

Nicole Spadafino, 36, of the 200 block of Foster Drive, Oswego, was arrested and charged with domestic battery, Oswego police said.

Two male juveniles were arrested at Oswego High School, 4250 Route 71, and charged with disorderly conduct, police said.

Someoen threw a rock through a window on a vehicle in the 700 block of Manhattan Circle, Oswego police said. No one was injured. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police at 630-551-7300.

Dec. 18

A shopper reported that someone struck her car while it was parked outside Jewel Foods, 3795 Route 34, Oswego police said.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested at Oswego East High School, 1525 Harvey Road, and charged with two counts of theft after police said she was allegedly caught with several items that did not belong to her.

Dec. 15

Unknown male and female subjects stole 12 bottles of cologne from Ulta, 2510 Route 34, police said. The stolen cologne was worth an estimated $816, according to police.

Dec. 13

Fatmir Saliu, 43, of the 200 block of Willowood Drive, Oswego, was arrested by Oswego police and charged with domestic battery, police said.
