Oswego Christmas Drive-Through Comes Back By Popular Demand
The upcoming event will feature music, illuminated holiday displays and appearances from special guests at Venue 1012.

OSWEGO, IL — The Christmas Drive-Through in Oswego will come back to the village by popular demand this season. Starting at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 10, guests can enjoy holiday music, illuminated light displays and appearances from special guests at Venue 1012.
The event allows visitors to experience the sights and sounds of the season while in their car. Last year, organizers estimated 1,200 people were in attendance at the Christmas Drive-Through, where cars drove through Venue 1012 in a continuous line for four straight hours, officials said.
Allied FirstBank is sponsoring the occasion, expected to run until 8:30 p.m. at the entertainment center, located at 1012 Station Drive. The bank also sponsored the inaugural socially distanced event amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The village is also hosting its annual Christmas Walk on Dec. 3, which returns to its original format on Main Street this year. Guests will be able to enjoy the Silent Emergency Vehicle Light Parade, a tree lighting production, ice sculptor Nate Johnson and an inflatable sled hill, among other free activities.
"We are so glad to continue to be a part of this holiday tradition," Ken Bertrand, bank president and CEO of Allied Bank, who's sponsoring the Christmas Walk, said in a statement. "Allied First Bank really takes pride in giving back to the community. We can’t wait to see you and your families on Main Street this year to celebrate the holiday season."
