Pepper Park Wine Bar Opened in Lake Barrington
Pepper Park Coffee converted into wine bar on weekends
LAKE BARRINGTON — On Thursday, Pepper Park Coffee, a specialty coffee shop and café, was converted for the first time into a wine bar. Proudly serving hand-crafted gourmet tapas and an elite section of wines, the Pepper Park After Dark celebrated a successful first night. Join the local wine legend and sommelier, Bob DePalma, as he takes center stage as the wine bar manager every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. at 22000 North Pepper Road, Lake Barrington.
“We are excited for the opportunity to be part of the Lake Barrington community,” said Kathleen Scott, Pepper Park After Dark Wine Bar. “By providing excellent food and wine, we hope to provide an enjoyable experience to adults within the community.”
As part of the Shops on Pepper Road, the wine bar joins other local businesses such as the Pepper Park Coffee, which serves as a community meeting area, and Wild Asparagus, a premier catering company. The business district is home to shops including Pasquesi Home & Gardens, the Onion Pub and Treetime Christmas Creations.
