Police said they believe the SUV was involved in the death of 26-year-old Oswego High School softball coach Amanda Stanton.

OSWEGO, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff's Office announced that a vehicle has been found in connection to the death of 26-year-old Amanda Stanton, an Oswego High School softball coach. Police said they believe a 2004-2006 silver/gray Chrysler Pacifica was involved in Stanton's death. The 26-year-old was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the southwest part of Kendall County.
After the Kendall County Sheriff's Office released a description of the vehicle, the office said it received "a great amount of public support and assistance" in finding the SUV. The office said it received several dozen tips about possible sightings of the vehicle and its location.
"The recovery of this vehicle has developed multiple leads which investigators are diligently following up with at this time," the office said in a statement. "This ongoing partnership between the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and the community we serve has proven to be invaluable."
