Woman Charged With Domestic Battery: Oswego Police

July 9 and 10 Oswego Police Department crime reports.

OSWEGO, IL —

Monday, July 9

Hit and run

Oswego police responded to a hit and run reported at 2:36 p.m., July 9 at Route 34 and Route 30. Rose Ann Hettinger, 53, of Aurora, was driving an SUV when she stopped in traffic and was rear-ended by a person driving an older model of a white sedan, reported as being occupied by four men and women in their 20's. Police reported the sedan continued westbound without providing any information to Hettinger. Oswego police ask anyone with information in this case to call the department at 630-551-7300.

Tuesday, July 10

Domestic battery

Genoveva Ramirez, 48, of the 300 block of Century Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 6:50 p.m., July 10 after Oswego police responded to a domestic battery incident just before 6 p.m. at Chicago Road and Grant Street. Police reported a 46-year-old female victim was injured. Ramirez was taken to Kendall County Sheriff's Office and has been charged with domestic battery.

Credit Card Fraud

Oswego police say they're investigating after a 31-year-old female from Oswego reported credit card fraud resulting from a BMV location at 337 Monroe and Forest on July 10.

Accident with injury

A 16-year-old juvenile from Chicago drove off the road on Route 34 at Riverwood Drive at 5:36 a.m., July 10. Police say the SUV rolled over and the driver was taken to Rush Copley for minor injuries.
