Aug. 27
Brenden M. O'Reilly, 23, of Arlington Heights, was charged with DUI, blood-alcohol level above .08, and disobeying a traffic control device after a traffic stop near the intersection of Brockway and Slade Streets.

Mario G. Rosales, 36, of Palatine, was charged with DUI, DUI blood-alcohol level above .08, no valid drivers license, and improper lane usage.

Christopher Stehman, 26, of Prospect Heights, was charged with DUI, DUI blood-alcohol level above .08 and improper lane usage after a traffic stop near the intersection of Palatine Road and Northwest Highway.
Sept. 1
A 2006 silver Kia Rio was burglarized in the 900 block of Kings Row. Taken was a laptop bag valued at $100. The incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The vehicle was unlocked at the time.
Sept. 3
Margarita Topol, 57, was charged with retail theft after allegedly switching price tags on two items and attempting to take a third item at , 1311 N. Rand Road. The items were a decorative pillow case, men's khaki shorts and a painting. The items were valued at $49.99.
Sept. 3
Antonio Lawler, 38, of Palatine, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, speeding, failure to signal, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Lawler was stopped near the intersection of Rose Street and Helen Road at 1:56 a.m.
Sept. 4
Robyn L. Quartetti, 50, of Belvidere, was charged with DUI, DUI blood-alcohol level above .08, improper lane usage and speeding. Quartetti was charged after a traffic stop at 1:21 a.m. near Crescent Avenue and Palatine Road.
Sept. 4
Daniel F. Donnellan, 43, of Oak Park, was charged with DUI, failure to signal and having an expired registration. Donnellan was stopped near Palatine Road and Plum Grover Road at 10:18 p.m.
Sept. 5
Jesuan Rosa, 26, of Geneva, was charged with retail theft after allegedly taking a pocket knife valued at $29.99 from , 1555 N. Rand Rd., and leaving without paying.
Sept. 8
Shaun P. McQueen, 29, of Hoffman Estates, was charged with DUI, DUI blood-alcohol content above .08, improper lane usage and no insurance. McQueen was stopped near Rose Street and Palatine Road at 2:29 a.m.
Sept. 8
A 1998 Toyota Camry was burglarized in the parking lot of , 1331 N. Rand Road. The owner found an envelope and its contents missing form the glove box of the car. Taken was a Social Security card, a vehicle registration card, an insurance card, and other financial and credit cards.
Sept. 10
A residential burglary occurred in the 1500 block of W. Ethans Glen Drive. A man knocked on the door of the home and said he was there to measure the deck for painting and washing.
The homeowner let the man in and they walked to the deck. The man talked for about 10 minutes and then left. The homeowner later discovered that a watch valued at $4,000 and a gold necklace valued at $500 were taken from the home.
