City development officials and the Palos Area Chamber hadn't been told of the shutdown, and the restaurant's Facebook page hasn't been updated since an August 11 post about a power outage.

• Frost re-sign Kendall Coyne Schofield to two-year contract (yardbarker.com) — Palos Heights native Kendall Coyne Schofield has signed a new two-year deal with the Minnesota Frost, keeping the star forward in the PWHL through the 2027–28 season. The multi-time Olympic medalist and Northeastern legend remains one of the league's top scorers, giving local fans another reason to follow her pro career from home.
