• 'Don't Believe Everything You Read On Social Media,' Palos Hills Alderman Says Of Son's Sex Assault Charges (patch.com) — Palos Hills residents are learning more about serious criminal sexual assault charges filed against the son of Ald. Donna O’Connell, after an investigation that involved local police and the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say the woman, visiting from out of state, ended up at a Palos Hills residence after a Chicago concert, and evidence gathered by detectives led to three felony counts and electronic monitoring for the accused. The alderman is urging the community not to rely on social media for the full story.
