Bookkeeper Funneled Company Funds into Personal Account: Cops
The 53-year-old man was arrested Thursday by Palos Heights Police.

An Evanston man turned himself in to Palos Heights police Thursday and was arrested for allegedly skimming funds from his former employer into his personal account.
Paul S. Schneider, 53, of the 600 block of Sherman Avenue was charged with one count of felony theft exceeding $10,000 but not exceeding $100,000. Schneider is accused of using his position as a bookkeeper to divert funds from his former employer into his personal accounts.
Schneider was taken to a bond hearing at the 5th District Courthouse in Bridgeview on November 19, where his bond will be set and a court date will be scheduled.
