Burglary Crew Scared Off By Homeowner: Video

Surveillance video shows two burglary suspects running from home and getting into a waiting SUV after Palos Park homeowner scared them off.

PALOS PARK, IL — Palos Park police say surveillance video shows two burglary suspects running out of a house Friday evening after the homeowner scared them off.

Around 7 p.m. Dec. 13, police responded to a home in the area of 123rd Street and 113th Avenue. The homeowner apparently was in an upstairs bedroom when somebody rang the doorbell. When the homeowner didn’t answer the door, police said the pair forced their way through the back door.

The homeowner, hearing footsteps downstairs, made her presence known. When the suspects realized someone was at home, two male voices yelled at each other to “get out.”
