Kean Avenue Closed For Repairs Through November
Kean Avenue in Palos Hills will be closed for repairs between 95th and 107th Street for drainage repairs and improvements.
PALOS HILLS, IL – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that Kean Avenue will be closed for repairs between 95th Street and 107th Street, in Palos Hills. The project consists of the removal and replacement of existing culverts as well as other drainage and pavement improvements. The work is expected to be complete by end of November.
A detour will direct traffic to 95th Street, U.S. 45 (LaGrange Road) and 107th Street. Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to flaggers and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
