• Uber Driver Tricked Into Giving Driver's License, Credit Card Info To Fake Uber Rep (patch.com) — A Palos Hills Uber driver reported being duped by a caller posing as an Uber representative, who convinced them to share their driver's license and credit card details. The scam, reported on 73rd Court, led to attempted large withdrawals from the victim's bank account, prompting a police investigation and a reminder for residents to be wary of unsolicited calls.
