Pot Gummies

An Orland Park man was arrested in Palos Hills after police found a large quantity of gummy cannabis edibles during a traffic stop, reports said. Mohammad Tuhhan, 20, is facing charges of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, aggravated speeding and failure to display a driver’s license.

Just before midnight on April 4, Palos Hills officers stopped Tuhhan for aggravated speeding, reports said. Police found 24 packages of gummy cannabis edibles in Tuhann’s truck, prosecutors said. Bail was set at $10,000. The judge also ordered random drug testing. Tuhhan is due back in court April 23 in Bridgeview.

Fake Money

Officers went to a business in the 11100 block of Southwest Highway for a report of counterfeit money around 9:53 a.m. April 6. The business said someone passed them a phony one-hundred bill.

Spit-Take

Police investigated a battery around 9:34 a.m. April 8. The purported victim claimed to be spit on and punched for no apparent reason, reports said. The incident is being investigated.
