Shots Fired in Palos Hills
One man arrested after threatening a trio of men targeted in a midnight shooting on 86th Terrace.

Dogs and infrared equipment were called in to comb a Palos Hills neighborhood after three cars were struck by gunfire shortly before midnight on Sept. 29 in the 9900 block of South 86th Terrace. When police arrived, they found a man standing next to a car with shell casings and loose marijuana on the ground.
Palos Hills police said the man told them he and two other men were sitting in the vehicle when someone drove up and began shooting at them. Police said the men’s stories differed, however.
Police did not find anyone during the search, but after midnight an armed man walked up to one of the three men who were shot at and threatened him, yelling “Don’t bring this type of stuff here,” according to police.
