'Suspicious Car' Suspected In Thefts From Unlocked Cars: Video

Have you seen this car? Call 911 immediately. This vehicle was seen near several thefts from unlocked cars in Palos Heights.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL — Palos Heights police are alerting residents of a suspicious vehicle spotted in the 12200 block of Natchez Avenue on Friday afternoon. Police believe the car may be involved in thefts from unlocked cars in Palos Heights and surrounding locations.

At 3:25 p.m. Oct. 25, a resident’s home surveillance camera picked up a white car. The occupants of the white car were seen getting out and checking to see if a vehicle parked on a neighbor’s driveway was unlocked. Entry was not made to the vehicle.

Deputy Chief Bill Czajkowski of the Palos Heights Police Department reminds residents to remove their valuables from their cars and to always lock their doors. If anyone sees such a car prowling around their neighborhood, call 911 immediately.
