Volunteer Field Trip Tour Guides Needed At The Children's Farm
Volunteer tour guides needed this fall for school field trips and other jobs around The Children's Farm-The Center in Palos Park.

PALOS PARK, IL — So that local children don’t grow thinking eggs grow in cartons or milk magically appears in bottles, The Children’s Farm at the Center is rebuilding its volunteer roster for the fall school field trip season.
COVID-19 has thinned out the volunteer ranks. As most school have started allowing field trips again, The Children’s Farm, 12700 Southwest Highway, Palos Park, is looking for more volunteer tour guides to help make fall an educational success.
School tours are Monday through Wednesday, with mornings being the busiest. Tour guides will take a group of children for an hour and help them interact with the animal. Children are taught that chickens lay eggs and cows make milk. How hard is that? The time commitment is just a couple of hours a week for the month of October. No experience is necessary and training will be provided.
