Walker entered the woman’s residence in Crestwood through an open overhead garage door around 10:20 p.m. March 27, prosecutors said.
Once inside the attached garage, Walker allegedly began kicking and pulling on the door that led into the home.

The woman barricaded the door with file cabinets, wood and ladders, according to the charges.
Crestwood police said Walker claimed the woman owes him $300. The woman told police she did not owe him money and hasn’t talked to Walker in over a month.
Walker has six misdemeanor retail theft convictions and failure to register as a sex offender stemming from a 1992 conviction for criminal sexual assault.
State records indicate that Walker is a registered sex offender who goes by various aliases and dates of birth, including a birth date of 1920.
Should Walker bond out of jail, he is to have no contact with the woman or go near her property, the judge said.
Walker is due back in court April 18 in Bridgeview.
