Cool Wheels and Hot Meals

The Plainfield Wildcat Athletic Booster Club and Midwest Hot Rods, Inc., are hosting a Car Show and Food Truck Rally on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Plainfield Central High School, 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive, Plainfield, Ill. All makes and models are welcome and can register at the event. There is a $10 entry fee per vehicle.

This event is sure to be a hit with car enthusiasts and foodies alike. Attendees can check out the cool rides and yummy eats, with featured food trucks including Mr Salty's Popcorn, Serna's Grill, Billy Bricks Wood Fired Pizza, Cream Crunch N More, and Kona Ice. Plus, there will be a grand prize for Best in Show sponsored by Midwest Hot Rods, Inc.

"We are excited to host this event and bring the community together for a fun evening," said Plainfield Wildcat Athletic Booster Club Vice President Megan Terry. "We hope everyone will come out and show their support for the Plainfield Central athletic program, teams and boosters."

The event is free to attend, and proceeds will go to support the Plainfield Central athletic program, teams and boosters.

After the car show and food truck rally, the Plainfield Central PTSO will be showing a movie on the Football Field at 7pm. The movie will be Bedtime Stories. Admission is $1.00 or one non-perishable food item per person. Proceeds will go to the Plainfield Central High School Love and Compassion Club.
