Dr. Lourdes Juarez, OB-GYN, joins Edward Medical Group in Plainfield

Lourdes Juarez, MD, an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB-GYN), has joined Edward Medical Group (EMG).

Dr. Juarez received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Juarez treats women of all ages and offers a full range of OB-GYN services. Her clinical interests include well-woman care, family planning/contraception, complete prenatal care, gynecologic care, gynecologic surgery (including minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures), hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, abnormal uterine bleeding, colposcopy and menopause care. She is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Juarez is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has participated in several research projects, authored published journal articles and presented at conferences of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
