The Moscow Ballet Wants Your Children: Three Chicago-area auditions held Aug. 20-22
Children ages 6-16 invited to audition to be a part of Moscow Ballet's holiday "Nutcracker" classic

The world renowned Moscow Ballet will hold open auditions in the Chicago area August 20-22. The auditions, open to talented young dancers ages 6-16, are an opportunity for children to share the stage with some of the world’s finest dancers in the Moscow Ballet’s annual production of “The Great Russian Nutcracker” in December.
Auditions locations include:
- August 20: Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance, 3951 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin. (Ages 6-11 at 4:30 p.m. Ages 12-16 at 6 p.m.)
- August 21: Dance Quest, 14511 Van Dyke Rd., Plainfield. (Ages 6-11 at 4:30 p.m. Ages 12-16 at 6 p.m.)
- August 22: Athenaeum Theatre, 2936 N. Southport Ave. 3rd Fl., Chicago. (Ages 6-11 at 10 a.m. Ages 12-16 at 12 p.m.
This unique opportunity is a part of the Moscow Ballet’s “Dance with Us” program which has provided more than 50,000 young dancers in the U.S. and Canada the chance to participate in the timeless holiday classic while learning from professional dancers.
