His fault? Being an American child born to Palestinian parents who had immigrated to escape the horrors of genocide in their country.

The constant rhetoric by right wing media and politicians pushed his 70 year old landlord over the edge.
We have to take a stand against hate in all its forms and ensure that Wadee's sacrifice was not in vain and Plainfield and all America reject extremism and hate.
Please note: This is not a protest. Let's be respectful and let the world know the resilience of the Palestinian community which has been under siege for decades now.
Program will start at 2 PM sharp with a short address by the Mayor of Plainfield John Argoudelis, poem reading by a young child, short messages from some Plainfield residents, community building activities and the release of balloons with messages from community members.
