Plainfield Kindergarten Registration Dates Released

PLAINFIELD, IL — District 202’s 17 elementary schools will register kindergarten students for regular, half-day kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year in April and May.

Children must be five years old by September 1 to start kindergarten this fall. Registration will be taken at the child’s home school.

Fees for regular education, half-day kindergarten for 2016-17 will remain at $88.

School registration information and forms is posted on the District 202 web site (www.psd202.org) and on the individual elementary web sites under “Parents and Students.”

District 202 elementary school kindergarten registration information:

Central – Walk-in registration on April 7 from 4-7 p.m. Daytime appointments can be made now, with appointments starting April 4. Kindergarten Round-Up for full-day and half-day kindergarten students will be May 12 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Please call the school for appointments. (815) 436-9278.

Charles Reed – April 6 from 6-8 p.m.; Kindergarten Round-Up May 4 from 6-7 p.m. (815) 254-2160.

Creekside – By appointment starting April 4, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, and 1:30-3 p.m. Please call for an appointment. Also, on April 7 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. (815) 577-4700.

Freedom – April 11-15, 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Please call for an appointment. Kindergarten Welcome Day will be held April 15 at 10 a.m. (A-L) and 2 p.m. (M-Z). Kindergarten Parent Information Night will be held May 3 from 5-6 p.m. (815) 254-4005.
