A 12-year-old Plainfield-area singer-songwriter marks the debut of his original album with a community celebration.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Local singer-songwriter Holden Garcia will celebrate the release of his debut album, Tainted Tapes, with a community release party later this month.
Garcia, 12, wrote and recorded the album himself, showcasing a sound rooted in acoustic singer-songwriter traditions with touches of indie and Americana influence. The project marks his first full-length release.
The event will feature live performances of songs from Tainted Tapes in a family-friendly setting. Organizers say the goal is to create a relaxed community gathering that highlights original music from a young local artist.
