Plainfield South Bass Fishing Team Records 8th Victory

Abby Cooper and Nicholas Noyes Fished their way to a First Place Finish at the Illinois Bass Fishing Coaches Association Bass Tournament Saturday September 18th 2021. The Tournament was held on Pool 13 of the Mississippi river with a weight of 14.1 lbs. It was the 8th Victory for the Plainfield South Bass Fishing Team since 2016. Abby Cooper is the First Female angler to win a sanctioned Bass tournament for Plainfield South Bass Fishing Team. Abby and Nicholas also won Shimano SLX Casting Rods and Reels which were Donated by Frank Hyla and Shimano Fishing. The Team also won $240.00 in College scholarship money.

Plainfield South Bass Fishing Team is Coached by Head Coach Pat Scanlan, Assistant Coaches Chris Gibson, John Noyes and Mike Ponx, Steve Mallinson ,Lenny Bodell & Bud Edmunds and Bob Bobich. The PSHS Bass Fishing Team is now Ranked 3rd in the State for ICASSTT.
