Ready Set Ride Seeking Donations for Fundraiser Auction
Proceeds benefit the therapeutic riding barn.
Ready Set Ride is getting set to host an auction on Friday, Nov. 7, and the organization is seeking donated items to help raise funds.
The Plainfield riding barn, located at 13056 Essington Rd. in Plainfield between 127th and 135th streets, uses horseback riding services to assist children with special needs and terminal illnesses.
Plainfield mom Lesley Caramusa said the following donations are being accepted:

- Gift cards to stores, restaurants, gas stations, specialty stores, spas, Visa/MasterCard gift cards
- Jewelry, apparel, accessories
- Sporting event tickets
- Chicago sports team apparel
- Case(s) or bottle(s) of wine

Donations can also be made to a GoFundMe campaign to benefit the donation-driven Ready Set Ride.

Dinner and auction
The Back in the Saddle Dinner & Auction is scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at 176 West Banquets, 1100 NE Frontage Rd., Joliet.
