Rent a Picnic Shelter for Your Next Event at the Plainfield Park District!

Plainfield parks are a favorite place for special events, family get-togethers and office outings.

Plainfield parks are a favorite place for special events, family get-togethers and office outings. Picnic shelters are available to rent. All rental requests are on a first-come, first-served basis; are subject to approval by the Plainfield Park District.

Picnic shelters available for rental: Boy Scout Park, Eaton Preserve, Mather Woods East and West, Van Horn Woods and Village Green.

Picnic shelter permits give the holder exclusive use of the picnic shelter for which the permit has been issued on the date specified. Reservations must be made in advance prior to the date requested, and payment must be received at the time of the reservation.

Picnic shelter reservations may be made beginning in January for the current year. Picnic shelters are available for rental from mid-April through mid-October.

Fees will be determined by the Park District and may include supervision fees, set-up fees, clean-up fees or police supervision. A minimum 2-hour rental fee Resident: $50 (non-refundable), Non-Resident: $75 (non-refundable). Each additional hour, Resident: $15 (non-refundable) Non-Resident: $22.50 (non-refundable), Refundable Security Deposit: $100
