1 Dead In Ridge Road Car Crash: Plainfield Police
Police are still working to determine what happened and identify the people involved in the crash on Ridge Road around 3:23 p.m.
PLAINFIELD, IL — One person died in a two-car crash on Ridge Road around 3:23 p.m. Friday, police said. The other person sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they're still working on determining what happened and identifying the people involved in the crash. Illinois State Police requested to handle the accident reconstruction, according to Plainfield Commander Anthony Novak.
The road between Route 126 and Plainfield-Oswego Road was closed for several hours while police investigated. It reopened as of 8:15 p.m.
