ComEd Plans To Trim Romeoville Trees Within Next 3 Months

Streets west of Route 53 will be primarily affected by the tree-trimming operations.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — ComEd plans to trim trees in Romeoville over the next three months, village officials announced Sunday.

A map provided by the Village of Romeoville highlights the streets that will be impacted by ComEd's operations. The subdivisions primarily affected are boxed in by Normantown Road to the north, Route 53 to the east, Taylor Road to the south and Weber Road to the west. Tree trimming will also take place on some streets just west of the Romeoville Prairie Nature Preserve.

Officials did not provide a specific start date.
