Country Singer Josh Turner Will Play In Romeoville In June
Tickets go on sale for Romeoville residents on Jan. 23.

ROMEOVILLE, IL — Award-winning country singer Josh Turner will perform at the Romeoville Toyota Pavilion at Deer Crossing Park in June, the Village announced Friday.
The concert will begin at 8:30 p.m. on June 17.
Turner has sold more than six and a half million records, and has reached 4.8 billion global streams, according to a release from the Village. Among his most popular songs are, "Long Black Train," "Why Don't We Just Dance," "Your Man" and "Would You Go With Me."

The double-platinum-selling “Would You Go With Me,” featured on Your Man Deluxe Edition, experienced a viral surge across TikTok leading to a jump in streaming which landed the classic country tune on Spotify’s US Viral 50 along with Spotify Viral charts in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland, according to a news release.
Turner has received six Inspirational Country Music Awards, and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, five CMA Awards, two ACM Awards, one CMT Award, and seven ACA Awards. To support music and arts education, he has created The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund For The Arts to help students pursue their studies in these fields, a news release states.

"We are delighted to bring Josh Turner to Romeoville to kick off our summer concert series," Mayor John Noak said in a release. “This year we have ten Rockin’ the Ville concerts lined up along with a multitude of performances scheduled for RomeoFest in August. It is going to be another great summer for our community.”
Tickets for the concert will be available for purchase online, starting at 3 p.m. on Jan. 23 to Romeoville residents only. Tickets for the general public will go on sale starting at 3 p.m. Jan. 30.
Pricing for tickets will be $60 for premium general admission and $30 for general admission. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and the concert will feature two supporting acts before Josh Turner takes the stage at 8:30 p.m.
