Fourth-Generation Rosati Cousins Take Over Romeoville Location
Rosati's Pizza celebrated its new ownership with a pizza cutting ceremony on Wednesday.
ROMEOVILLE, IL — Rosati's Pizza celebrated its new ownership with a pizza cutting ceremony with Mayor John Noak on Wednesday, according to a release from the business. Four fourth-generation Rosati cousins have come together in business for the first times as the new owners of the location.
Cousins Sam, Mike, Brent and Anthony Rosati took ownership of the location, 463 N. Weber Road, in May, alongside managing partner Luis Montes, according to a release from the business.
“Rosati’s Pizza in Romeoville marks the first time fourth-generation Rosatis have come together to run a store,” co-owner Mike Rosati said in a release. “We’ve all been in the pizza business our entire lives, but this is our first opportunity to own a business together as cousins. We’re excited to continue the Rosati family legacy.”

According to the release, the cousins began working at family restaurants as teens and now have more than 100 combined years of experience in the pizza business. The restaurant donated 25 percent of sales on Wednesday to American Legion Post 52 in Romeoville.
“We are excited to welcome the fourth generation of family ownership to Rosati’s in Romeoville,” Romeoville Mayor John Noak said in a release. “We wish you many years of continued success and admire the family tradition you have built.”

“We never compromise on quality,” co-owner Sam Rosati said in a release, adding that everything from the dough to the sauce is made fresh. “We are committed to sourcing high-quality ingredients, and we still use the same recipes our family did when they opened the first Rosati’s Pizza in 1964. We have the same style of rotating pizza deck oven for a crisp crust and even bake. Our customers know we deliver quality and consistency, and that’s something people feel good about. Why mess with perfection?”
The cousins are following family advice passed down for generations: "Make sure you feed them."
“When grandpa was standing over our shoulder making pizza as kids, he’d always tell us there were never enough toppings,” Mike Rosati said in a release. “Our grandfathers were humble about the fact that customers gave them money for the food they produced. You want to give people what they’re paying for, which means generous portions and the best ingredients.”
Co-owner Brent Rosati said the restaurant's commitment to quality has kept customers coming back for nearly 60 years.
“I started working at our Lake Zurich location when I was in high school,” he said in a release. “When I go back now, I see the same customers I served as a teenager. They still get lunch with us every day. We value building lasting relationships with our customers and their families.”
The restaurant is open for delivery, carryout and catering, as well as contactless curbside pick-up. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
